How to assign a BI Admin role in R12 Fusion application.



Login to application.
Navigate to Tools à Security Console
 Go to Roles tab
Search for seeded Job role only (ex: Application Diagnostics Viewer)
 Click on Copy role
Select Copy top role option from pop-up

Modify ‘Role New Name’ (ex: Bi Administrator Custom since we want to inherited BI administrator)
Modify Description
Click next
Under Function Security Policies clear all the policies if any exist
Click next
Under Data Security Polices clear all the policies
 Click next
Under Role Hierarchy clear all the roles
We can also check the Role Hierarchy in Graphical mode.
Right click for options and click on Delete.
Click on “+” and search for  BI Administrator Role’  in Other Roles and click on Add
Below roles will be there in Role Hierarchy.
Click Next
 Add the desire user you want to have this role assign to it
Click next
Submit and close
 Go to the administration tab from Security console
 Go to role copy status  tab and see when the status of the role is completed.
 Wait for around 30-50 minutes to be synchronize in all system
